If

Then,
upon expressing your wish to become a Toner Action Western Australia
franchise owner, you would then be given a copy of the disclosure
documentation, which includes:

Several other documents
The
Disclosure Document summarises a range of legal provisions of the
franchise agreement. You are advised to read this Disclosure Document
and the Franchise Agreement carefully.
There
is a legislative requirement that you must have received the disclosure
documentation at least 14 calendar days before you are able to sign
the Franchise Agreement and remit any payment to Toner Action Western
Australia.
It
is your responsibility to review the Disclosure Document or to have
your solicitor and/or accountant review it with you so that you
are fully familiar with the implications of the transaction contemplated
before the execution of any document or the payment of any money.
When
you decide to become a franchise owner, you would be requested to:

Select a franchise area to operate your Toner Action business;

Supply the details required to prepare the Franchise Agreement;

Decide on a date for the one-week training at the Gold Coast in
Queensland; and
-
Decide to undertake or not a 2-day training on printer repairs
and maintenance at an additional cost.
Upon
signing the Franchise Agreement, you would be required to remit
10% of the franchise fee to Toner Action Western Australia together
with payment of the balance of the legal fee.
At
any time following a 7 day "cooling off period" after
signing the Franchise Agreement, you may commence to prepare your
business and pay Toner Action Western Australia the balance of the
franchise fee (90%) before your training starts.
Preparation
of your Toner Action business includes:

Registration of your business name

Applying to the Australian Taxation Office for the ABN

Establishing your business bank account
-
Printing your business cards, letterheads, tax invoices, etc
-
Arranging for credit facilities, etc
-
Listing in the White Pages and Yellow Pages
-
Organise your office and work areas to run the business
-
Planning your strategy to start your business
